Among the research results, people discovered an interesting phenomenon, that is, the South pole of the Sun is colder than the North pole. The temperature at the Sun's south pole is about 44,000 degrees Celsius, 8% colder than at the north pole.


With the help of a ship-mounted SWICS spectrometer, the scientists analyzed the components that make up the Sun's wind and discovered that it was the relative concentration of oxygen ions that was disrupted. The temperature of the gas is further generated, and 300 million km from the Sun is considered a safe distance for Ulysses.


More surprisingly, the difference in temperature at the poles is independent of the Sun's magnetic field (even over the Sun's 11-year cycle, the difference between its poles remains unchanged). Physicists say the structure of the "atmosphere" over the Sun's poles is different, but this issue is still being explored.

When searching for an answer to this mystery, scientists found that no volcanoes were formed around the Tunguska area, where the disaster occurred. So where did that fireball come from, did it really appear from outer space?


Some scientists believe that the explosion was caused by the detonation of natural gas contained in meteorites flying in the atmosphere, others have put forward the strange theory of a UFO explosion.


Uranus' Tilt

If other planets can be compared to spinning tops, Uranus is like a rolling sphere. Its rotation axis tilts up to 97.86°. This is what makes Uranus completely different from the rest of the planets of the solar system. Interestingly, one of its poles will remain in the dark for 42 years and the other pole will be illuminated by the Sun for 42 years.


It is known that most of the planets rotate counterclockwise (if viewed from the North pole of the Earth), except Venus which rotates clockwise. From this arises a hypothesis that: the reason why Venus rotates in the opposite direction compared to other planets is that it has collided with another planet in the universe. Most likely that collision happened to Uranus.


Atmosphere on Titan

Titan is one of the 34 moons of Saturn and the second largest moon in the solar system (after Ganymede, Jupiter's moon). In addition, this is also the only moon in the solar system with an atmosphere, and also the only satellite that cannot directly observe the surface because of its cloud cover. Titan is very similar to Earth but smaller in size.


Titan is rich in nitrogen, just like Earth's atmosphere. On Titan's face is very cold, and the landscape is rough. The temperature at the surface is -179°C and the lowest recorded temperature is -202°C. It is worth mentioning that the main component of Titan's atmosphere is nitrogen with a content of up to 95%. The question arises, where does Titan get such a large amount of nitrogen gas? This is still a mystery.
